Privacy Policy
Last updated: 16 July 2026
This policy explains what information MyDriveway collects, how we use it, and the broad permission you give us to use that information when you choose to submit your details. By using our visualiser or submitting your details, you agree to this policy.
Who we are
“MyDriveway”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the MyDriveway service operating the driveway visualiser and lead service across the United Kingdom. You can contact us at hello@mydriveway.ai. A postal address and data-protection registration details will be added here before wider public launch.
Information we collect
- Details you give us: your name, mobile number, email address (if provided), postcode and the driveway preferences you select (surface, colour, size, current surface, timescale).
- Images: any photograph you upload, and any Google Street View image of your property that you generate through the service, together with the AI concept image we create from it.
- Technical and campaign data: information about how you reached us (for example advertising source and campaign), your device and browser, and basic usage information collected through cookies and similar advertising and analytics technologies (such as the Meta pixel).
How we use your information — the permission you give us
When you submit your details to us, you give MyDriveway a broad, worldwide, royalty-free permission to store, use, copy, adapt, combine and commercially exploit the information, images and preferences you provide, including for any of the following purposes:
- Creating your driveway concept and showing you an indicative price.
- Contacting you about your enquiry and your project by phone, text, email or messaging.
- Passing your details and project brief to our selected installation partner (and, where relevant, other trades or partners we work with) so they can quote for and carry out work.
- Marketing our own and partners’ products and services to you, including follow-up offers and remarketing advertising.
- Building audiences for and measuring the performance of our advertising (for example on Meta/Facebook, Instagram and Google).
- Improving, training and developing our service, including our AI prompts, pricing and example imagery.
- Using anonymised or example “before and after” images to promote the service.
This permission continues even if you later ask us to stop contacting you, to the extent we need it to keep records, meet legal obligations or use information we have already anonymised. Where the law requires a lawful basis, we rely on your consent and on our legitimate interest in running and growing the business.
Sharing your information
We may share your information with: our selected installation partner and other trades or suppliers we choose to work with; service providers who help us run the business (for example hosting, call handling, messaging, AI image generation and analytics); advertising platforms such as Meta and Google; and anyone else where we are required to do so by law or to protect our rights. We do not run an open marketplace that sells your enquiry to many unrelated companies at once.
International transfers
Some of our providers (for example AI image generation and advertising platforms) are based outside the UK. Where your information is transferred abroad, we take reasonable steps for it to remain appropriately protected.
How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as needed to run the service, pursue your enquiry, meet our legal and business needs and support our marketing. We may keep anonymised or aggregated information, and example imagery, indefinitely.
Cookies and advertising
We use cookies and similar technologies, including advertising pixels, to run the site, understand how it is used and measure and target advertising. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not work correctly if you block them.
Your rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct or delete your personal information, to object to or restrict certain uses, and to withdraw consent to direct marketing at any time. To exercise any of these, or to ask us to stop contacting you, email hello@mydriveway.ai. In the UK you also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
Children
The service is intended for homeowners and adults aged 18 or over. It is not directed at children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above shows when it last changed, and the current version always applies.
